"LIFT YOUR SPIRITS" AN EVENING TO HONOR COACH GENE STALLINGS
Join Community Grief Support on Thursday evening, October 5, at Vestavia Country Club to honor coaching legend Gene Stallings. Coach Stallings is a former head football coach at Texas A&M and was the head coach of the St. Louis/Phoenix Cardinals of the NFL. In Alabama, he is most loved for leading the Crimson Tide football program from 1990-1996 during which he led the 1992 team to a 13-0 season with a win in the Sugar Bowl over Miami and was named the consensus national champion.
Stallings also co-wrote the book, "Another Season: A Coach's Story of Raising an Exceptional Son," which describes his love for his son, John Mark Stallings, who was born with Down Syndrome.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. For VIP ticket holders, there will be a special meet-and-greet reception with Coach Stallings from 5:00 - 6:15 p.m.
