Join Community Grief Support on Thursday evening, October 5, at Vestavia Country Club to honor coaching legend Gene Stallings. Coach Stallings is a former head football coach at Texas A&M and was the head coach of the St. Louis/Phoenix Cardinals of the NFL. In Alabama, he is most loved for leading the Crimson Tide football program from 1990-1996 during which he led the 1992 team to a 13-0 season with a win in the Sugar Bowl over Miami and was named the consensus national champion.

Stallings also co-wrote the book, "Another Season: A Coach's Story of Raising an Exceptional Son," which describes his love for his son, John Mark Stallings, who was born with Down Syndrome.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. For VIP ticket holders, there will be a special meet-and-greet reception with Coach Stallings from 5:00 - 6:15 p.m.
